Local Looe chefs and businesses have joined forces with the Cornwall Good Seafood Guide to hold an evening of fishy food and fun in Looe on 19th February at the Millpool Centre.
An informative talk by Matt Slater of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust will introduce the audience to the Cornwall Good Seafood Guide – an online resource created with the input of the fishing industry, providing consumers and businesses all they need to ensure that they are making sustainable choices.
Sample and learn about local food
Tasty morsels prepared by Pengelly’s and the Old Sail Loft/Simply fish will be served, whilst they share tips on buying, preparing and cooking sustainable Cornish seafood in the style of TV programme ‘Saturday Kitchen’. The evening event has been organised by Looe Marine Conservation Group to celebrate the fantastic sustainable seafood landed in the port of Looe.
A licensed bar will be available 7 – 10 pm
