Badger culls to curb bovine tuberculosis are under way in seven new areas of south-west England, the government has confirmed. Seven new licences have been granted for badger control measures covering parts of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Cornwall, Devon and Dorset. The licences are in addition to three existing cull areas in Gloucestershire, Somerset and Dorset.
