Commenting on the results, Nigel Carr, General Manager for Cory Environmental said: ‘I am really pleased to see such positive results which demonstrate a year on year improvement. This is a reflection of the hard work by all our Cory people each and every day, delivering these important frontline services to the residents of Cornwall. They deserve to be commended for their commitment and dedication to their work. We continue to work in partnership with Cornwall Council to improve service delivery standards.’

Joyce Duffin, the Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing and Environment ‘We are always keen to hear what our residents think of the services we provide so it’s great to see that they are largely satisfied with the domestic waste and recycling collection service that we are delivering in partnership with Cory across Cornwall. I’m pleased to see that in addition to this, our residents are also largely satisfied with the beach and street cleaning services we deliver to local communities, towns and villages. The opinions of our residents are important to help us ensure the services we deliver are effective and that we can continue to make improvements where needed.
